Last night,  the 2017 Hip-Hop Honors were on and there was some good performances from artist like Missy Elliot who opened up the show.  It was almost nearly 20 years Missy Elliot dropped her song She’s A B**** produced by Timbaland and directed by Hype Williams for a whopping $2 millions.

But Mariah Carey performance was the bare minimum she stood and sang her hit song Honey will her backup dancer performed.

Carey who is not a dancer.

During the show Pharrell was giving an award to Hype Williams when he started to talk about the injustice that has been happens.

Williams said “So for everybody… everybody at home right now watching this and acting like ya’ll don’t see what’s going on out there, you gotta open your eyes,” “Open your eyes. You keep saying you don’t see what’s going on on television—what’s happening to us—open your eyes. And if you look like I look, then you know how we got here. But we’re here, and we’re not leaving. So what are we gonna do? And for everybody else in this country, the human condition is important. Don’t think because they’re coming at the African-Americans and the Jewish community and the Hispanics that it can’t be you too just because you look like them. They’re using you.”

Then we had Lil Kim who performed and social media went in on her dance moves. Check out some of the funny post during the 2017 Hip-Hop Honors below:
