Pink Is Raising Her Kids ‘Gender Neutral,’ and Her Daughter Says She’s Marrying an African Woman

Pink gave a heartfelt speech at the “VMAs” this summer, where she talked about how she had to comfort her six-year-old daughter Willow, after she said she was “ugly,” because she looked like a boy with long hair.
Pink told her that people also used to make fun of HER for being different.
Now, Pink is taking it a step further. In a new interview with a British tabloid, Pink says she’s raising her kids “gender neutral.” She adds “We are a very label-less household.
“Last week, Willow told me she is going to marry an African woman. I was like: ‘Great, can you teach me how to make African food?’ And she’s like, ‘Sure mama, and we’re going to live with you while our house is getting ready.'”
In addition to Willow, Pink has an 11-month-old son named Jameson.
To be clear, Pink isn’t saying that she’s ignoring genders or that her kids are choosing their own sex. She’s just not creating boundaries, or restricting them to gender stereotypes and “norms.” So, if her daughter says she wants to marry an African woman, she’s not going to ‘correct’ her by saying that’s not something young girls do.
